Peterhead’s state-of-the-art shiplift can accommodate vessels weighing up to 2,000 tonnes for inspection, repair, maintenance or survey.

Peterhead Port is home to a slipway which has four berths.

The drydock is adjacent to the shiplift. It handles vessels up to 57.9m in length, 10.6m wide and with a maximum draft of 4.5m.

Peterhead has a maritime tradition stretching back over 300 years. This association with shipping has encouraged a wide range of support companies to set up business in the town.
